Kyoto Protocol

The Kyoto Protocol is an international agreement that aims to reduce greenhouse gases emission levels that cause climate change.  This reduction must happen within a Five-year time frame between 2008 and 2012, and add up to a total cut in GHG emissions of 5,2% against the baseline of 1990.
